Microsoft Program for Students
The Microsoft Campus Agreement with certain restrictions allows UF Students to use the following Microsoft products at home:
- Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate. This is an "Upgrade". (See Special instructions below.)
- Microsoft Office: Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 for Windows or Microsoft Office Standard 2011 for Macintosh. (Only one Office product can be obtained.)
Employees are also covered under the Microsoft Campus Agreement. For information concerning the Employee option, visit the Microsoft Program for Employees page.
What are the terms and conditions of use?
The University of Florida has purchased license coverage for Microsoft Office and Windows 7 Ultimate upgrade through its Microsoft Campus Agreement for all UF Students. The student is required to buy the installation media.
To participate in this agreement, you must acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions listed:

- You must read and abide by the license agreement(s) associated with this software when you install the software.
- No technical support is provided by Microsoft. The UF Computing Help Desk (392-4357) can be contacted for assitance in the installation of the software provided in this program.
- You will be required to remove the Software from my personal machine immediately upon the earlier of (a) any event, with the exception of graduation, which causes me to no longer to be a student of the institution or (b) expiration of the Campus Subscription Enrollment licensed period.
- If the University of Florida does not renew the Student Option under the Enrollment for Education Solutions, then you must delete or remove the Software licensed through the University of Florida from your computer at the time the enrollment expires or is terminated.

Installation Advice:
Important Instruction for Installation for Windows 7: We strongly recommend that you review Windows 7 Help web site before deciding to upgrade to Windows 7 at Microsoft's FAQ for Windows 7 32bit and 64 bit software and also review your computer's vendor's (DELL/HP/Gateway etc) web site to check compatibility with windows 7.
Before purchasing the Window 7 Ultimate media know which operating system is installed on your computer system.
- 32 bit versions of Windows XP or Windows Vista should upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate (32 bit version)
- 64-bit versions of Windows XP and Vista should upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit version).
The version of your Windows operating system can be determined by looking in your System Control Panel. (If you select the My Computer icon with the right-mouse button and choose Properties, this will open the System control panel). If the operating system does not indicate 64 bit then more than likely the system is a 32-bit system.
