How to place orders with Software Licensing Services
All orders should be placed with Software Licensing Services' On-line Ordering System: https://billing.at.ufl.edu/sales/
Our system provides a Sales Order and Sales Order Number. An Invoice will be sent to the Customer's department once the order is processed. Our Ordering System allows you to place orders quickly, track the progress of your order and saves ordering information for later use.
In addition to these functions, you can use our system to review all of your orders and SLS staff can quickly contact you if there is a problem with your order. Please note:
- If your department cannot use UF Chartfields to make payment, please call our Office for special handling of your order.
- Our office cannot accept P-card or Credit Card transactions.
- Only UF staff with authorization to use UF Chartfield information should use this system. Chartfield information will be required to place an order.
- All order forms must be attached to your order.
Special Promotion
Secunia PSI
Secunia PSI (Personal Software Inspector) is now available to all faculty, students of the University of Florida. Secunia is a free security scanning tool for private use, removes the inconvenience from home endpoint security. The Secunia PSI’s unique security scanner automatically scans your PC and alerts you whenever your installed programs and plug-ins require updating. It even patches them for you or, if a patch hasn't’t been issued by the vendor, recommends the best course of action.
Lynda.com for UF faculty staff and students:
lynda.com is an online training resource partner of UF. lynda.com's online training library has over 1,100 courses, ranging from Web development, animation, and video graphics to courses in business software and Microsoft SharePoint training. Microsoft Software for UF students:
The Office of Information Technology has great news for University of Florida students! If you want to upgrade your operating system or need Microsoft Office Suite, this media will be available in the Spring 2011 semester. The different media available are: Windows 7 operating system Upgrade, Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 (32-bit/64-bit) for PC or Microsoft Office for Mac 2011.
Please be aware that under this agreement, a UF faculty, staff and students and Shands employees are entitled to install only one copy of Windows 7 Ultimate Upgrade and one copy of Office Suite. Installation media will be made available at the distribution cost of $15.00 + tax. Any additional licenses can be purchased at the full retail price.
To check for availability of the media and technical requirements, contact the UF Computing Help Desk at (352)392-HELP(4357). Once the media is available, you can get it at the UF Computing Help Desk or at the UF Bookstore .
Microsoft Software for UF Employees:
Faculty and Staff of the University of Florida can use at home the Microsoft software products listed below.
- Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Desktop Operating System Upgrade
- Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 for Windows
- Microsoft Office Standard 2011 for Macintosh

Adobe Software:
The UF Computing Help Desk is selling Academic versions of Adobe Software Licenses (such as Acrobat Professional,
Dreamweaver etc.) to faculty, staff and students. These licenses are perpetual licenses for Home Use
only (NOT for UF Department purchase). Please visit Software Services
